“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Christchurch updates
This is going to be a very small post, I just wanted to say it's been  a week since the earthquake. The country has been turned upside down. It's incredible to me the instant bond that has been created. I am in a very low decile school (Low income), and they have raised heaps of money to send down to help out with Christchurch. The other thing that I am truly impressed with was today exactly one week from when the earthquake happened (12:51), everyone in New Zealand stopped and had two minutes of silence and the country was still.
Today in the elementary school, the Principal Trevor Diamond, held a special assembly. All of the students were brought to the hall. Once they were in the hall, Mr. Diamond gave a short speech and talked about what had been going on, and students who had lost family in the Earthquake. Following this, they sang the New Zealand national anthem (Maori and English). After they had sung, they had the bible teacher say a prayer for all of those who passed away in the earthquake, the people in Christchurch, and also the families here that were affected. Following this, it was time for the two minutes of silence. I was so impressed by this. The entire school joined hands and was completely silent. Not only for the two minutes but until they left the hall. It was truly amazing to see New Zealand unite together to help Christchurch. The hope of rebuilding Christchurch shines bright in all of the people's eyes!
