Happy Birthday Natalie!

Happy Birthday Natalie!

This was such a fun weekend! Natalie came up with the great idea to go to Scary Hills! It was so much fun! What it is, was Cherry Hills only it was all decorated for Halloween! It was so cute! The kids got to dress up in their Halloween costumes and their was a Halloween Costume Contest! Along with all of that, the miniature golf had snakes, spiders, bats, skeletons, Frankenstein, and several other Halloween things! It was a lot of fun! Bryson was a hoot to watch golf! He didn't quite get how to hold the golf club right, but man he figured out to hit the ball. He could get it to go very far! He was very cute! As you will see in a few of the pictures, Ashlyn got a little tired of carrying her hat. Since she got a little tired you will see that I took it upon myself to wear it.   Along with all of the decorations and miniature golf, we got to do several other things. We all got to go on a train ride! We all got to go on the tractor ride, then a few other things. Ashlyn and Bryson got to play in the hamster haven room. A giant play place for children. Ashyln was very proud of the way she could climb from rope to rope! She did a great job! I was proud of her. Natalie, Danny, Kolt, my Dad and I all got to do the batting cages. It was quite an experience. None of the slow pitch softball was working. Therefore we all got to do fast pitch! Let me tell you I was really good! K so I really wasn't. But my Dad was so good! I don't think I have ever seen him do that before! He was good! After we all did that we got to go play aeroball. It was so much fun! What aeroball is, is a two tramps with a net in between and you and a basket above the net. You then try to shoot a ball into the person's basket across from you. Sounds easy, but when you are jumping it's a killer. I quickly found out I was very out of shape. After we did that Ashlyn and Bryson just went in and jumped for a little bit. Then we got to go Rock Climbing. I must say, I was definitely the best at that! I even made it to the top on two different routes up! I was very proud! I didn't think I would be able to. I remember doing it when I was little and I didn't make it. So this was a big accomplishment! That was pretty much Scary Hills! It was a blast! So much family fun!

After Scary Hills we went back to the house and we did a family dinner. Of course it was Natalie's favorite dinner (which also happens to be mine as well). It was very good. We then opened packages. She got a lot of fun stuff. Bryson's hilarious he finally gets what the packages are, and makes sure that someone tells him which ones he gets to help open, and which ones Ashlyn gets to help open. It was really cute! It was a fun weekend!

General Conference

What a great weekend! It was General Conference. This is one of my favorite weekends in the world! Although to begin my weekend I taught! My classes are going very well. my dancers are working hard for me and we are very close to having our dances done. Princess Practice was a blast this week! We learned table manners! I got to take all of my little princesses and have a tea party with them in the party room. They loved it! It was so much fun to watch! Then on Saturday and Sunday I got to watch Conference! I loved the Saturday morning session! It seemed like so many of the talks were so applicable to teaching, and addressed teachers! I loved the quote "A teachers attitude isn't taught, it's caught." How powerful of a statement that is. There were so many great talks given! Although I did watch general conference, I also got to go pick out my pumpkin! I loved picking out a pumpkin! It's fall! Today when I was walking home from school it was the first day that I felt like I could say it smelled like autumn. I love the way Autumn smells. It is going to be a great week!

Circus Circus!!

Weekends are the best! This past weekend my family went to the circus! In the morning my mom did a circus breakfast for us all! She decorated the table with a train, and peanuts in the train, and monkey fruit snacks coming out of the monkey cage! The table cloth and plates all looked like the circus! She also had tied balloons on the back of the chairs. It looked very festive! She had gone all out! For breakfast we had fruit with clown toothpicks sticking out of them. Very cute. Hash browns where you made them into lines with cheese for the mane, and different things for the eyes and mouth. It was very cute. We also then had elephant and circus hat waffles. It was a lot of fun! After we went down to the circus! It was very well done! There were these incredible guys. They jumped on like a rod or something that was only about six inches wide, and they'd do flips on them. The rods were being held on peoples shoulders. It was very impressive! We got to watch the elephant paint, and they even brought out a new baby elephant. Another really cool part was they had a tramp section where they had routine on about six different tramps. It was very well done! The circus was great! Very good show! It was a lot of fun! My Mom, Dad, Natalie and Kolt, Natasha and Danny, Bryson and Ashlyn, and me went, which makes it that much better! I am grateful for such a great family! It was a fantastic weekend!

Family Fun!

Well it was another great week/weekend! Last week I worked so hard so I didn't have to do any homework on the weekend! It was fantastic. That is my new goal for the rest of this semester! It was a great relaxed weekend! Friday I worked. It was so much fun! I taught my first Princess Practice at the peak! It was so cute! This week's princess was Ariel! We went on an undersea adventure. Ashlyn in is my class. She was adorable! She dressed up in her Ariel costume, and learned how to say please, why we say please, and how to twirl! It was such a fun class! I am so glad that I get to teach it! After that I taught dance! My dances are looking pretty good! We are almost finishing them, then we will be able to clean them! I'm proud of my girls and how hard they are working. After that I went home and relaxed with my mom and dad! Wow that felt so good! It is exactly what I needed! Saturday we had a pretty laid back day. I went and helped a girl with her dance (she started the class late so had missed the first of the dance). Then after that my dad and I took my car in and got my tires rotated. I'm so glad I have my dad to help me out with that! Later on in the day Carol and Chuck called! I got to talk to them for a pretty long time! I enjoyed that! I found out they are leaving very soon for Arizona. After that it was Call's Drive In last day of the year for being open. Natasha, Natalie, Ashlyn, my Mom, and I went out to lunch there. We were their very last customers. I think that has happened two years in a row now! Later that night we all went to The Heritage Theater and watched Annie! It was a very cute play. I hadn't been out to a play there for a very long time. I enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun to see the girls in my neighborhood as the orphans! They all did a great job and were very cute! Overall another great fun weekend!

Peach Days

It's Peach Days! I love peach days! Not necessarily for everything that goes on up town but everything that my family does, and especially for peach cobbler! Peach Days kicked off with the Junior Peach Queen pageant. I wasn't able to go because I had class. I was sad because Ashlyn was in it. She even was the second runner up, of course it is because she is the cutest one up there!  (Our family has pretty good luck with that. Natasha placed, I placed, Bryson was the prince, and now Ashlyn. We get the luck out of the fish bowl). Since she won, I decided I had to go to the Peach Queen Pageant. I couldn't miss seeing her up in her dress two nights in a row! That was so much fun! She is such a cutie! Friday afternoon, I then got my Peach Cobbler! That is what peach days is all about! Then Friday day night was the Junior Parade! Ashlyn got to ride on a car and wave. She loved it so much! After that parade, my family all walked up and got more peach cobbler! What a life! The Boys and Girls clubs put out several free games for younger kids to play. It was really fun. All the kids enjoy them. I think that is a great thing they have done. The next morning was the parade! Ashlyn and Bryson were so cute running and getting their candy! Also Ashlyn got to ride on a car again and wave. This time she wore her pink heart sunglasses though. Yesterday the sun was in her eyes. After that we walked around all of the booths! How fun. Then my family does a BBQ at my mom's house. It was fun to have everyone come up and eat and just relax. After that my dance girls and Ashlyn performed on the stage! All my girls did so good I was proud of them! Not only that but Ashlyn was so cute! She loves performing. Now by this time I am dead. All I want to do is sleep! But not yet, Sunday was Bryson's birthday! He turned two! He had a toy story birthday party! He was so fun. Watching him open the presents and wanting to play with every toy right away was so cute! It was a very fun weekend!
