Fireside And Daily Life
Well yesterday was such a good day! School went really well, and I am learning a lot. I'll tell you more about it when I talk about maths. Anyway, when I got home from school yesterday, some of Paea's grandchildren were over here and wanted to play. They were so excited to meet and play with "The girls." So I got to come home and play with them. This made me miss playing with Ashyln and Bryson! It was fun to get to play with them. They have heaps of energy!
After I had been playing with them for a while, it was time for the Church fireside. We have such fun young single adults(YSA) in our ward! They are so nice, and so willing to include us in everything! I am so glad we have such a good YSA group! Anyway, we got to go see Elder Neil L. Anderson. It was such an amazing fireside. He talked about trusting in the Lord, and letting him direct your life. I was on the second row! It was really cool, during general conference you always see them so focused, and just giving their talk. Little did I know he really is a funny guy. He was up there cracking jokes, joking with the stake presidents and just having fun. It was so great to just see him as a real person! It was such a good fireside!
After the fireside, our YSA group (those in the picture and a few others), went over to Wendy's. We went at got shakes. I don't really go to Wendy's that often, but they have tons better shakes over here. They have a strawberry flake shake, mint flake shake, and tons of other kinds I've never even heard of in the states. Also they don't have a dollar menu over here. It's the value menu, and it's like three dollars. I thought that was kind of crazy! Anyway though, we drove through the drive through, and it was so weird! Where we in the states would drive out, they drive in. I was a little bit scared when we started going through, I didn't think about that before hand, it was kind of strange. Anyway, after the drive through, we decided to go inside and eat it (We didn't want to wait in line because there was heaps of people), but it was set up just like the Brigham one! It was nice! It felt just like the Wendy's in Brigham! Anyway, it was a really fun night! I love that I am getting to know people over here and make friends with them!
