Family Home Evening!

     Well Monday night was our group family home evening night. We had been trying to do this for a couple of weeks up at a lake (or bay), but then the weather never cooperated with us. So we decided we wanted to get together! We are glad the Lord Family was kind enough to let us all come over to their house! It was a pot luck dinner so everyone took something! We had a good amount of food, we also had tons of soda! More than I think anyone could ever drink in one night! It tasted so good! We took some watermelon and sausage rolls. A lot like pigs in a blanket!

     Then we all got our food and we just sat around and tried to get to know the other families. Professor Jacobs gave us very strict instructions that we could not leave until we had talked to every person there! We were not suppose to sit and talk to just the girls! We were to mix and mingle! No worries he told us that we did a very good job! It was really fun to get to know all of the girls' families. It also was fun to put names to face. In class we hear about these people, but I never know what they look like. I feel like I know them, but really I don't. So this was a really good part about tonight!

        This is my new friend Alexis. She loves me! The girls that live with her said that she likes me better than them and they've been living with them for a month. For some reason she took a liking to me, and we played. She showed me her toy room, and she had a necklace like mine, and she thought that was very neat! She was cute and very fun to play with!  Anyway, all in all it was a very fun family home evening! We got some very good food, and we also got so have fun with all our families! There is the update!
